She started her TikTok career posting humorous comedy skits, and later found her niche in the travel, personality, and lifestyle content, which now she is primarily known for. Another Olympic Games are in the books… and this time influencers were part of the story! It’s no doubt that the Olympics are a powerhouse when it comes to media coverage across TV and traditional outlets, but this year, NBC Universal set out to push even further. According to a UTA IQ study, 78% of viewers planned to watch Olympics coverage through social media. To tap into this shift, the network launched its Creator Collective, sending 27 creators to the games to cover them in a new way on social media.
Having creators cover the Olympics not only attracts younger and more diverse audiences but it also offers unique POVs and behind-the-scenes glimpses into all the action that you don’t get with news anchors and journalists.
Of the 27 creators, DBA’s own Clarke Peoples was on the scene covering the games on her TikTok and even got to shoot content with the Team USA gymnastics and rugby teams! This just goes to show that influencers are becoming an integral part of major media events, bridging the gap between traditional and social media.

Based in Los Angeles, she is a Gen-Z lifestyle content creator where she shares about all things beauty, fashion, skincare, and life in LA. Tanicha was part of last year’s DBA Mentorship Program and is ready to continue building relationships with brands and growing her platform at DBA.
