With a new season comes new beginnings, new opportunities… and new fashion! As summer winds down and fall approaches, we are thrilled to embrace all things fashion this season whether it’s on the runways or in the hallways.

Fashion is about to take center stage with the anticipation of upcoming fashion weeks around the globe and the back-to-school season in high gear. It’s the perfect time for creators and brands alike to incorporate fashion into their content. Fashion Week offers endless content opportunities as renowned brands showcase their latest designs that inspire, and creators set the tone for what’s to come. Cue all the styling vs wearing content!

Then on the flip side of the internet, there is the back-to-school season – which, let’s be honest, is basically fashion week for students ready to turn hallways into runways. This is where we see creators sharing fashion trends for everyday life, regardless of your age or budget.

Charisma Stevens

Charisma Stevens is a lifestyle and travel creator currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She started her TikTok career posting humorous comedy skits, and later found her niche in the travel, personality, and lifestyle content, which now she is primarily known for. She captivates her audience with her soft and charming personality, as well as her evident intelligent mind. She graduated college with a degree in Finance and Law. She is currently starting her job at Google in the NYC Headquarters.

Emma Arletta

Emma Arletta is a fashion & lifestyle content creator signed with Wilhelmina as a plus-size model. Known for her distinctive style and empowering content, Emma has made significant strides in size inclusivity with her "Big Girls" clothing line and impactful activations. Recently, Emma has collaborated with brands such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Victoria's Secret, Staud, Skims, Drunk Elephant, and Anthropologie, solidifying her position as a trendsetter in the industry. Emma is set to become the face of Dolce Vita Wide Calf Boot launch this fall, further cementing her influence and commitment to inclusivity. Emma has been able to continue growing her platforms; she currently has 746.9k followers on TikTok & 361k on Instagram.

Halley Kate

Halley Kate is a dynamic content creator based in New York. With a background in fashion, she leveraged her expertise to share engaging fashion hauls, thrift finds, and style tips, which helped her build a loyal community. Her vibrant personality and openness about her personal life have attracted an audience that values her authenticity, turning to her for inspiration and product recommendations. Halley has expanded her content to include beauty, skincare and lifestyle topics, partnering with brands such as Best Buy, Patrick Ta, Mejuri, Nexxus, and Amazon. In addition to her social media presence, she co-hosts the podcast "Delusional Diaries" with her best friend, where they discuss dating, friendships, hot takes, and navigating life in NYC.

The Glow Narrative

Hannah is a trusted Gen-Z skincare and beauty content creator based in NJ. After struggling with acne as a young teen, she delved into researching skincare ingredients and exploring makeup. She started content creation to share her journey and experience trying out different products in July of 2022, and has seen tremendous growth in her social media community since then. Hannah has become known on TikTok for her "brutally honest reviews" that have propelled her to strong engagement and consistent views. Hannah was the top converter for sales on a campaign with The Inkey List and has worked with other notable brands such as e.l.f. Cosmetics, Neutrogena, CVS, and Kiehl's.

Raven Elyse

Raven Elyse is a multifaceted YouTube DIY professional, real estate investor, and dedicated mother to her vibrant 8-year-old daughter, Ziyah. Renowned for her versatile talents, Raven excels at forging connections with audiences across generations and platforms. As a pioneering YouTube guru in beauty, hair, home, and DIY, she stepped outside of her comfort zone embarking on her TikTok journey in early 2023, amassing over 1 million followers in just a year.

Tanicha Rosemé

Tanicha Rosemé is a Los Angeles-based creator who shares her love of beauty, fashion and life in LA. What started as a hobby has evolved into a passion for inclusivity and representation in beauty, especially skincare. Her practical tips and dynamic personality make her content engaging, and empowers her audience to bare their best skin – with or without makeup! She also shares glimpses into her life in LA offering style inspiration, the best places to go in the city and the exciting journey of planning her 2025 wedding!

Tori Block

Tori Block is a social media personality and plus model / creator. She has amassed a community of over 1.6M followers collectively across all platforms and has been an advocate for mental health, body positivity and encourages her followers to love themselves in all seasons of their life.

Victoria Casalino

Victoria Casalino is a Gen-Z content creator based in New York, renowned for her engaging hair styling videos. She has captivated her audience with stunning at-home blowouts and a diverse range of styling techniques. Beyond hair, Victoria also creates varied content in the beauty and fashion sectors, winning over her followers with her vibrant and cheerful personality. Her signature lightheartedness keeps her audience coming back for more. Victoria has successfully collaborated with industry leading brands such as Bondi Boost, Redken, and IT Cosmetics.

Influencers are Changing
the Media Game!

Another Olympic Games are in the books… and this time influencers were part of the story! It’s no doubt that the Olympics are a powerhouse when it comes to media coverage across TV and traditional outlets, but this year, NBC Universal set out to push even further. According to a UTA IQ study, 78% of viewers planned to watch Olympics coverage through social media. To tap into this shift, the network launched its Creator Collective, sending 27 creators to the games to cover them in a new way on social media.

Having creators cover the Olympics not only attracts younger and more diverse audiences but it also offers unique POVs and behind-the-scenes glimpses into all the action that you don’t get with news anchors and journalists.

Of the 27 creators, DBA’s own Clarke Peoples was on the scene covering the games on her TikTok and even got to shoot content with the Team USA gymnastics and rugby teams! This just goes to show that influencers are becoming an integral part of major media events, bridging the gap between traditional and social media.

Talent News

We are thrilled to announce that we have just signed Tanicha Rosemé! Based in Los Angeles, she is a Gen-Z lifestyle content creator where she shares about all things beauty, fashion, skincare, and life in LA. Tanicha was part of last year’s DBA Mentorship Program and is ready to continue building relationships with brands and growing her platform at DBA. We are excited to continue to support rising black creators as we kick off this year’s mentorship program in the fall…. stay tuned for more information!

Ashley Tisdale teamed up with Honest and had the perfect backyard display for her baby shower to welcome in her new bundle of joy with endless diapers and baby wipes.

Clarke was one of 27 creators that NBCUniversal sent to the Paris Olympics to cover the games in a non-traditional way on social media to attract younger and more diverse audiences.

Mayah partnered with Tree Hut on a two-part series to showcase the brand’s upcoming Fall scents alongside their activation at Lollapalooza. Mayah’s first asset highlighted the importance of getting “festival ready” with Tree Hut, and her second video showed off their fun, immersive activation at the festival.

Macy is known for her seasonal content, so her partnership with Michaels highlighting all their exciting spooky season decor seamlessly blended into her content.

Mikayla and ELF teamed up in 2023 to launch a “Marriage Material Lip Duo” in preparation of her own marriage. The product was well received, selling out within 18 minutes, resulting in a continued partnership to re-launch the lip kit on August 1, due to the high demand. The relaunch sold out within it’s first day!

Xandra performed at Lollapalooza this summer for the first time with 2 DJ sets and got the chance to hang out with Rolling Stone to play a quick game in between sets.

Faith just launched her own flavor with Ground Up and it’s about to be your next craving. This limited-edition Brownie Batter almond and cashew butter flavor is the perfect combo of chocolate and nutty flavors that will definitely be enjoyed by the spoonful!

Jessica Sulhee launched her first cookbook full of endless recipes from fresh salads to delicious sandwiches — all made with love!

Ella Rose launched her third curated capsule collection with Revolve and it’s elevating all your summer staples from classic sundresses to matching sets!

Glamzilla shares all about how she paved her way in the beauty creator space as the cover star of the September 2024 “The Ones: Canadian Trailblazers” issue of Fashion Magazine.

To celebrate the launch of Benefit Cosmetics’ new POREfessional matte primer and powder, DBA talent headed out to Greece for some sun, sailing and seafood.
