Going Analog in 2026!

It’s a new year, which means new trends… and the biggest shift we’ve been seeing is going analog. From analog bags full of phone-free activities and journaling inspo to craft tutorials and physical media collections going viral, it’s clear that doomscrolling is OUT and being present is IN!

Analog culture is all about disconnecting, yet it’s thriving on social media (ironic… right?). By sharing content of slow living, crafting, and journaling, online communities are inspiring nostalgia and creativity that audiences want to join in on in their own unique ways.

For brands and creators, this is an opportunity to show up differently and be intentional with how you approach your audiences. This goes beyond just showing cozy content, we’ve seen this shift come to life through more IRL activations that emphasize community like Facebook’s holiday market, with uniquely curated gifts and Ayan Broomfield’s diversity initiative, “Ayan’s Aces,” where she teams up with brands to diversify sports audiences by bringing women of color to major events like the US Open and F1.

From beauty and lifestyle to family and fashion, DBA talent continue to show us that there are countless ways to tap into this trend across all verticals with content like:

You never know where this podcast is going—and neither do they. Known as Syd and TP, Syd Colson and Theresa Plaisance are best friends, former teammates, and now hosts who cannot, will not, stay on topic. After launching a hit TV show (which also didn't stay on topic), they return their hilarious antics to mainstream audiences, as their podcast "Unsupervised" brings in the same energy that fans have grown to love. One minute they’re dissecting reality TV drama, the next they’re debating if pigeons are government spies. Somewhere in between, they'll pull audiences into completely unhinged games that are way more fun than they should be (no, seriously), and they’ll dish out impressively solid life advice to callers, who probably have no idea who they are and may wonder, are they okay? It’s an in-real-life text thread turned podcast — like a 2 a.m. group chat you accidentally walked into. You'll be glad you stayed.
