And this summer has shown that they’ve cemented their status as the new celebrity. Influencers like XANDRA and Gabriela Bandy have joined the pop music scene with their debut single releases, while Achieng Agutu is making waves in the entertainment industry as a host in an upcoming Amazon Prime show.

Having social media as a launching pad, they have built genuine connections with their followers through their authentic and relatable content, leading to organic success and these incredible opportunities.

But now, influencers are no longer just online stars anymore. From song releases to starring in TV shows and commercials, the new wave of influencers have transcended beyond the internet and right into traditional media. This trend has been growing and it’s definitely leaving an undeniable impact in the world of entertainment.

This year, food creator Carissa Stanton has garnered over 30K link clicks on denim, blazers, and a Crockpot through a few Instagram Stories linking to her LTK. By attracting thousands of clicks across various verticals, she demonstrates how she can connect with her audience on different levels.

Link clicks provide measurable insights into a creator's impact, largely through conversion rates. Carissa generated a 14.5% conversion rate on the Crockpot and a 14% conversion rate on a Free People denim jacket, showcasing her ability to make an impact in more ways than one.
